The Diablo VT was introduced in 1993. Although the VT differed from the standard Diablo in a number of ways, by far the most notable change was the addition of all wheel drive, which made use of a viscous center differential (a modified version of LM002’s 4WD system). This provided the new nomenclature for the car (VT stands for viscous traction). As fir the VT 6.0, the car was only produced form 2000 to 2001 as a test platform for the new engine being inherited by the next generation V12, Murcielago.
From the total of 215 produced in 2001, 40 were SE models and the rest VT’s putting this car as one of the 175 ever built. The legendary v12-naturally aspirated engine produced 558 hp and 457 ft-lb of torque, coupled with 3600 pound body and 75/25 torque distribution making it a handful yet magnificent car to drive to this day.
As for our special car, this is number 35 and is truly a garage find. We located the vehicle at a friend’s garage stored beautifully on lifts. Upon further investigation realizing the exquisite condition the car was in. So we decided to invest further and make the car as if she is new. The engine, drive train, wheels, brakes, tires, interion, suspension, and even window systems and modules, all inspected, then fixed or replaced with new Lamborghini official parts. The car is simply in concourse condition
